Quality Controlling My Self

I made this tweed brooch a couple of months ago. I like it lots. It is based on a polyanthus or primrose.

But I was not happy with the back.  But I left it, thinking I must do something.

 As I mentioned, I am attending a craft fair on Sunday so I was sorting through and labelling my stock.  The brooch glared at me 'do something now', it said.

So I did.

    Very Valentine! It's much harder to get motivated with backs I think, you know nobody is ever going to see it once it's worn.

    It is true that people rarely see the backs but I do think it is nice to have a 'secret' loveliness - like having a beautiful lining to a coat.
